The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood: A New England lunch in a Charming town

We went up to Rowayton, CT to have lunch with a friend. It only took us an hour on the express from Grand Central. We wanted to eat by the waterfront so we went to The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood. It was warm and cozy with views of the harbor.

Wild Mushroom flatbread ($14): This had arugula, pancetta, goat cheese, and truffle oil. We loved the mushrooms - they were marinated really well and were very flavorful.

Fixed Price Lunch menu ($18): We opted for the lunch special (Mon-Thurs only) and chose a Cup of Chowder and the Grilled Salmon. The New England Chowder was meaty and not too heavy.

The Atlantic salmon was tender and cooked perfectly (medium). We loved the fresh tomato/cucumber salad as well as the tangy lime/herb emulsion.
The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood is located at 89 Rowayton Ave, Rowayton, CT.
