{Easy Entertaining} Super Bowl XLV: Steelers vs Packers Jell-o Helmets

Like many people in the U.S., we'll be heading out to a Super Bowl party tomorrow.  I wanted to bring something fun, so in addition to the salty snacks and comforting chili (either turkey or vegetarian), we'll be bringing these fun Jell-o helmets (that may have a touch of vodka).

I ordered a complimentary set of these football helmet Jell-o molds last month when Kraft was giving a few away.  For the Pittsburgh Steelers helmet, I made the black helmets by mixing strawberry, berry blue, and lime green Jell-o packages.  (The Green Bay Packers helmet was made using lime Jell-o).  Making the helmets was easy:  Mix 2 cups of boiling water to 3 packages of Jell-o, pour the mixture into the mold, and chill for at least 2 hours.  To make a more adult version, mix 1/4 cup of vodka, 1 3/4 cups of boiling water, and 3 packages of Jell-o.  The molds are really cute, and I'll definitely be using them for any football-themed or boy's birthday party.
