Mamoun's Falafel

Wandering about the Village can easily make anyone hungry. Pork sandwiches, kati rolls, and pizza joints are all found within a block or so of each other. Whether it's 4AM (after a night out) or 4PM (just before your night starts), it's a sure bet that a falafel craving will hit.

Since 1971, Mamoun's Falafel has been feeding the masses with its satisfying Middle Eastern food. It's a small spot with 2 tables inside and usually a line outside its door.

The menu is filled with familiar eats including falafels, shawarma, and hummus.

Kafta Kabob sandwich ($5.00): The meat was well seasoned. We love spicy foods, but beware the hot sauce! Just a little bit will clear your sinuses!

Falafel sandwich ($2.50): Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, the falafel sandwich hits the spot.

Mamoun's Falafel is located at 119 MacDougal St (btwn 3rd St. and Minetta Ln).
New York, NY 100
