Poured into a pint glass, we could smell the hops right away. The beer is reddish-orange in color with slight carbonation.
What we liked about this beer was that it had a good amount of hops with a slight bitterness, strong citrus aromas and sweet fruitiness to support the 8.7% ABV alcohol level. The big, sweet malt was not too over the top and is surprisingly easy to drink.
Like a fine wine, this beer is big but balanced. For this beer, the brewery uses six different malts with three kinds of hops to add the floral notes. This makes for a really enjoyable combination for a strong beer.
The can says the beer's 'Big. Red. Sticky', we call it a great beer. Now if we can only figure out how to get a can of the Ten FIDY . Cheers!
