The Lower East Side, home of the Tenement Museum, is full of history. Having been built by immigrant families over the years, the LES is also home to some of the best New York food experiences. Russ & Daughters is a beloved historic institution that still happens to sell great food. 
The long and narrow store is filled with sweet and savory gourmet delights. The friendly staff kept enticing us with many delicious samples.
Our Egg Cream was light and airy...
Licorice, chocolates, and anything else to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Dried peaches were plump, sweet, and tasty.
No wonder Russ & Daughters is the go-to place for fish!
The whitefish and salmon salad is amazing...as is the wasabi caviar.
