Sad News - Dessert Truck currently Closed to public; Will give out 80 creme brulees tomorrow

We were shocked and sad to read that one of our favorite street vendors, Dessert Truck, has been shut down to the public by the city due to permit issues. According to eater.com, the city is claiming that the permit Dessert Truck holds prohibits them from selling their beautiful and delicious baked goods to passersby on the street. They are currently only allowed to cater private events.

And now, according to the Dessert Truck website, they have 80 creme brulees available to give away tomorrow to a worthwhile cause from their kitchen in Midtown west.
