With more than 500 different Facebook groups, Tim Horton's is not only a dependable lunch place, it's a cultural icon. The chain manages to convey a sense of community (through its many local events and charities). It's the place we can always go to for a friendly, value-priced meal in a clean place.
For about $8 CAD/approx $6 USD, we enjoyed the soup, sandwich, and coffee combo. The grilled chicken club sandwich was nice and toasted. The chicken soup had large chunks of chicken, bow-tie pasta, and vegetables. It's was the perfect quick bite - fast, satisfying, and cheap.
Tim Horton's is located throughout Canada and in parts of the US.
